Casa Toro La Punta

I stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling through Mexico and had a great stay. The owners and team are super friendly and are very proactive about arranging activities and providing recommendations. The sauna/ice bath offering after rooftop yoga was a really nice way to connect with others, as is the coworking space. The only thing I would suggest is ear plugs - La Punta is a great vibe but there is some construction nearby, dogs barking and even a local rooster (lovely and can’t be changed but worth bearing in mind!)

Very pleasant stay overall. Points to improve: tiny tiny breakfast included. Either don't pay for it when booking or buy another one somewhere nearby. Pool parties for 3h straight while no-one attends them with overloud music combined with un sound proof rooms was not great...

Absolutely loved it here! The rooms are beautiful so spacious and clean. They had yoga classes on the roof with ice baths & saunas which was so fun! The road to the hotel was kind of a dirt track on a hill so be aware of that you need to walk up and down it each day to get anywhere! But other than that the stay was wonderful!

Casa Toro La Punta feels thoughtfully designed from the moment you arrive. You can tell it’s new — stunning architecture, beautiful lines, and a pool that looks incredible. Even before using the spaces, the hotel already makes an impression. At times, the atmosphere and the mix of guests feel straight out of a White Lotus episode, all that’s missing is the background music. The only thing keeping this from a full five is the pool itself. While the design is gorgeous, the water is quite cold, and since it doesn’t get much sun throughout the day, it’s more of a visual highlight than a place you actually want to jump into. That’s really what makes this a solid 4.5 rather than a perfect 5. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with strong personality and a lot of potential. Fix that one detail, and it would be close to flawless. SI VUELVO !!

An unforgettable experience and stay! 10/10 hospitality from every member of the Casa Toro team. The amenities set this hotel apart (sauna, ice bath, workout classes, bar, pool, coworking space, and breakfast). The property was spotless, and I felt so safe as a solo traveler throughout my stay, as well as in the surrounding town. A beautiful, welcoming place, I will absolutely be back!

Great hotel and team! Tidy & spacious rooms that provide everything you need. The location is just a few minutes from the living streets with bars and stores, maybe a 5-10min. walk to the beach. For me it was perfectly balanced; enjoying deeply uninterrupted sleep while still having bars and partygoing folks within walking distance. The team is super kind, the welcome was warm and I felt instantly home. I highly recommend the place to anyone that likes to get in contact with others. They frequently plan activities like surftrips, Karaoke or trips to nearby places that you can join. On the otherhand, they also respect any guests, that follow their own activities. Some parts of the hotel are still underconstruction, but that didn't bother me much. From my experience, you won't notice much from it, they are working behind the hotel, this area isn't yet accessible - also the quiet-hours are respected ;) It's most likely calmer than at any hotel near the beach.

Casa Toro is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, not just in Puerto. It’s proximity to the beach and everything La Punta offers is incredible. The space itself is lovely. It’s quiet and perfect for relaxing. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are phenomenal. The rooms are perfect for a relaxing, beach vacation or unwinding after a long day of surf. And the hotel had curated a great vibe, so whether you want to keep to yourself or meet some interesting people, you can! I’ll definitely stay here again. Thanks Casa Toro team!

Just 10/10 – outstanding Everything about this stay was amazing. The location is perfect — close enough to La Punta beach to walk there easily, yet far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. The room was spotless, spacious, and the AC kept it perfectly cool just the way I like it. The long pool is beautiful and incredibly refreshing on hot days also enjoyed it at night. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond — they even helped me find a t-shirt I had lost during my trip. Other guests had great energy too, which added to the vibe of the place. The whole property is stunning, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.
